Noah Lyles has claimed he was concerned about spreading his Covid to other athletes during the medal ceremony for the 200m final - despite hugging at least two of his competitors following the race. After the favorite for the race failed to win gold - instead picking up a bronze medal - he revealed he had Covid, with Lyles' coach later telling the AP that the sprinter battled through a 102-degree fever.
