Arsenal have signed Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto on loan to offer backup to current No 1 David Raya. It comes after Southampton completed the £25m signing of Aaron Ramsdale, with Mikel Arteta's side subsequently failing in their talks to sign Joan Garcia from Espanyol. Arsenal had also been unprepared to meet Espanyo's £16m valuation for Garcia. Neto joined Bournemouth in 2022, from Barcelona, having spent time playing at Valencia, Juventus and Fiorentina before then.
