A 10-year-old boy died from a mind damage after he was electrocuted at a lodge in Blackpool, an inquest has heard.
Jack Piper-Sheach, from Grimsby, suffered serious injuries at Tiffany's Hotel when he was on holiday together with his family last yr on September 3.
He was taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool but died four days later together with his household by his bedside.
The lodge was closed for several weeks following Jack's dying however has since reopened.
The pre-inquest evaluation held at Blackpool City Corridor heard how Jack's dying was brought on by a hypoxic brain damage as a consequence of prolonged cardiac arrest due to an electrocution.
The evaluate also heard electrical agency Calbarrie carried out an electrical installation situation report on the lodge in 2020.
E Dugdale Sons & Grandson Ltd also carried out work at the lodge.
